Pillar 04 · Partner offering via KoraStratum

Identity, compliance, and elder-fraud — pre-wired and ready to drop in.

Through our partnership with KoraStratum, Orokii delivers Kora IDV, Kora Compliance, and Kora Sentinel as an integrated stack. Strong on African PEPs, sanctioned counterparties, and the documentation corridors global vendors underweight. Self-hostable. One delivery partner for the full surface.

Where the market is

Plenty of global compliance vendors. Few that take African flows seriously.

Established

ComplyAdvantage, Refinitiv World-Check, LexisNexis Bridger, Sumsub. Strong on Western coverage, mature procurement relationships, per-screening pricing that grows with volume.

Underserved

Nigerian and African PEP depth, sanctioned-counterparty attribution on African flows, self-host for data-residency regulators, document libraries covering markets incumbents skip (Liberia, Sierra Leone, Gambia and more).

Where we sit

Bundled identity + compliance + elder fraud delivered by a single partner. African PEP depth at flat-fee infrastructure pricing. Self-host by default. Bedded in production across Stratum, Sikama, LuckyCat.

What's included

Three products. One integration path.

Kora IDV — identity verification

Document OCR + MRZ + barcode + NFC chip read across 127 countries. Active and passive liveness. Anti-spoofing via ONNX models. Native SDKs for iOS, Android, Flutter, React Native, and Web — version-locked at v1.9.x.

Production · 4/5 maturity · 3 live integrations

Kora Compliance — sanctions, PEP, AML

OFAC SDN + UN + EU + UK + AU + CA + CH + JP watchlists (~63K entries). PEP coverage including Nigeria, African, Wikidata, Global (~974K entries). Fuzzy and phonetic matching. Hybrid rule + ML + behavioral transaction monitoring.

Production · 22 services · 1M+ watchlist records

Kora Sentinel — elder financial exploitation

Ten detection signals across seven categories — POA abuse, gradual draining, lifestyle inconsistency, scam signatures, new-relationship patterns, cognitive decline, isolation. Exploitation Risk Score 0–100.

Beta · bundle into CBA conversations

Case management

Investigator-facing UI for alert triage, SLA tracking, assignment, disposition, and SAR / STR lifecycle. Sits behind a single compliance-gateway API.

Production

Crypto sanctions screening

OFAC and OpenSanctions blockchain-address coverage. Screens wallet addresses against sanctioned counterparties before transfers settle.

Production

Adverse media monitoring

Real-time news crawler with NLP entity extraction and sentiment. Surfaces material risk events tied to existing customer or counterparty records.

Production

Full product documentation lives at korastratum.com. Orokii handles the integration relationship.

Who we work with

Three buyer shapes. Same delivery motion.

African neobanks and fintechs

Per Kora IDV's existing prospect list — Kuda, FairMoney, Carbon, Moniepoint, PalmPay, Korapay and similar. African PEP coverage that global vendors underweight.

US fintechs doing CIP and KYB

Customer Identification Program, business onboarding, ongoing monitoring. Self-host for data sovereignty; flat-fee infrastructure pricing instead of per-screening that scales as a liability with growth.

Banks and MTOs needing African flow coverage

Stronger African PEP and sanctioned-counterparty depth than ComplyAdvantage, Refinitiv, or Sumsub. Critical for any institution serving Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, or West Africa diaspora corridors.

How we work together

You operate compliance. We deliver and support the stack.

You bring

  • Your own regulated entity and licensing (Orokii is a sales + integration channel, not the licensed party)
  • Your customer relationships and KYC/AML obligations
  • Decisions on auto-clear thresholds, manual review queues, and SAR/STR filings
  • Your hosting choice — self-host on your cloud, or accept KoraStratum-hosted

We bring

  • The IDV, Compliance, and Sentinel software via the KoraStratum partnership
  • Integration delivery — wiring the stack into your customer and transaction flows
  • Ongoing managed-service contract for SLAs, updates, and incident response
  • Six years of MTO operational experience tuning these tools in production
  • Orokii as the single delivery partner — one contract, one SLA, full stack

Commercial model

Two pieces. Product license + Orokii delivery.

Product license

$50k – $1M

per year · varies by product mix and volume

Paid to KoraStratum. Flat-fee infrastructure model where possible — your cost does not scale against you as volume grows. Range covers IDV-only at the low end through full IDV + Compliance + Sentinel at the high end.

Orokii delivery

$50k – $200k

delivery + ongoing managed-service

Integration build, customer flow wiring, runbook handoff, ongoing managed-service contract for SLAs and incident response.

Numbers are guidance for budgeting. Final scope and price are set in the engagement letter.

Frequently asked

What partners ask before signing.

Is Orokii the vendor, or is KoraStratum?

KoraStratum builds and owns these products. Orokii is the delivery partner under a written cross-sell agreement — we handle the integration engagement and the ongoing managed-service relationship. The product license sits between you and KoraStratum; the delivery relationship sits with us. Both companies are independent and contract separately with you.

Can we self-host or do we have to use a hosted version?

Self-host is the default. Your cloud, your KMS, your data — Orokii deploys and supports. Hosted variants are available where appropriate. Self-host matters in African regulator jurisdictions where data residency is a hard requirement.

How does pricing work?

KoraStratum prices the underlying product license — typically a flat-fee infrastructure model rather than per-screening, which keeps your cost from scaling against you as your volume grows. Orokii prices the delivery engagement separately ($50k–$200k typical) plus an ongoing managed-service contract for operational coverage.

How is the African PEP coverage actually different?

KoraStratum maintains its own Nigeria, African, Wikidata, and Global PEP lists, totaling ~974K entries. Global vendors lean on Western lists that systematically underweight African political and family relationships, generating higher false negatives on African flows. This is the single most-cited reason customers switch.

Can we start with just Kora IDV?

Yes. Kora IDV is the most mature piece (3 live integrations through Stratum, Sikama, LuckyCat) and the natural first deployment. Kora Compliance follows once IDV is bedded in. Kora Sentinel is bundled into Kora CBA core-banking deployments, not sold standalone yet.

What about SOC 2, ISO 27001, and bank-grade procurement?

Discussed during the scoping call. KoraStratum's posture varies by product; some attestations are in progress. We will not misrepresent maturity. If your procurement gate requires a specific attestation, we tell you up front whether it is in place.

Ready to evaluate?

A 30-minute scoping call covers your current vendor mix, African flow exposure, hosting requirements, and rough integration timeline. We tell you whether the fit is real.
