Pillar 01 · Built by Orokii

Tokenize gold, real estate, and the assets shaping emerging markets.

Software for licensed issuers — bullion banks, real estate companies, and commodity operators. Built on the same stablecoin-native, no-prefunding architecture that already powers Stratum Remit, Sikama, and LuckyCat. You hold the license. We ship the platform.

Where the market is

The gold tokenization category is real, growing, and visibly underserved outside US/EU institutional flows.

Established

Paxos Gold (PAXG) holds roughly $500M–$1B in tokenized supply. Tether Gold, Kinesis, Aurus, Comtech each serve a slice. All lean institutional, US/EU/Swiss-vaulted, with clunky customer-facing UX.

Underserved

African-issued, African-vaulted, African-AML-compliant tokenization. Diaspora-retail UX. Provenance-aware sourcing that takes DRC, Sudan, and Russian gold risk seriously. None of the incumbents are built for this.

Where we sit

Software for licensed African issuers and partners. Six years of operational AML experience translated into the platform. Mobile-first customer apps. Compliance-bundled, not compliance-as-an-afterthought.

What's included

The full platform — contracts, oracles, customer apps, compliance.

Asset-backed token smart contracts

Mint and burn against vault attestation. ERC-20 for fungible commodities (gold, silver), ERC-1400 / ERC-3643 wrappers when transfer restrictions matter. Tier-1 audited.

New build · 4-6 months for first deployment

Proof-of-reserve oracle

On-chain attestation of the physical reserve backing the token supply. Independent monthly audits surfaced through the same oracle for buyer transparency.

New build · ~1 month

Custody and vault integration

Per-vault attestation feeds — Rand Refinery, Brink's, Loomis, Swiss vaults — selected and operated by the partner. Orokii integrates; the partner custodies.

Custom per partner · 2-4 weeks each

Identity, AML, and sanctions

Kora IDV for buyer onboarding (127-country document library). Kora Compliance for sanctions screening — strong on African PEPs and DRC / Russian gold provenance risk.

Cross-sell, production-ready

Customer apps — mobile and web

Branded Flutter (iOS + Android) and Next.js apps for the partner's end customers. Stablecoin onramp built in; fiat onramp via the partner's existing rails.

Reused from the Stratum Remit platform

Admin, treasury, and audit

72 admin surfaces from the Stratum Remit platform, ported into the bullion-bank operational shape. Compliance review, sanctions hits, treasury position, fraud workflows.

Reused · adapted per partner

Roadmap

6-8 weeks after gold

Same smart contract pattern as gold, different vault attestation and price oracle.

Who we work with

Three buyer profiles. All licensed. All operating their own regulatory relationship.

Licensed bullion banks

Hold their own NYDFS trust charter (US), or comparable banking / commodity-issuer license. Operate vault relationships and refinery sourcing. We ship the platform; they operate.

Real estate issuers and investment companies

African developers with US Reg D 506(c) sponsors, or local-market issuers serving diaspora investors. Bring their own SEC-registered structure.

Oil & gas operators with Reg D sponsors

Nigerian indigenous operators paired with US-side broker-dealer or sponsor relationships that handle the securities registration.

Frequently asked

What partners ask before signing.

Does Orokii hold custody of the underlying assets or tokens?

No. Orokii is a software vendor. The partner — operating under its own license — selects the custodian, controls the vault relationships, and holds the private keys to the issuance and redemption wallets. Our platform integrates with vault attestation feeds; we never custody.

Is Orokii the issuer of the tokens?

No. The licensed partner is the issuer. Orokii ships the platform the issuer operates. This separation is explicit in every contract and is the core of our regulatory posture.

How long until our first deployment goes live?

Realistically 4-6 months for the first asset class (gold), including the tier-1 smart contract audit. Subsequent asset classes on the same platform are 6-8 weeks each.

How are smart contracts audited?

Tier-1 audit by a reputable firm (ChainSecurity, Hacken, or equivalent) is mandatory before any contract holds real assets. Audit cost is included in the platform setup engagement. Bug bounty and insurance posture are part of go-live readiness.

What about AML for gold and DRC / Russian provenance risk?

Gold AML is severe. Source-of-supply attestation matters as much as KYC of buyers. Kora Compliance carries strong coverage on African PEPs and sanctioned counterparties. Our six years running a regulated MTO is the operational expertise that makes this work in production.

Can we self-host the platform?

Yes. Self-hosted on your own GCP, AWS, or Azure project is the default delivery model — keeps customer data and operational control fully on your side. Managed hosting on our infrastructure is available where appropriate.
